I had to use a Spectrum/Time Warner modem and couldn't get online. I've spent hours working with Spectrum Teks and trying to get help from Netgear but it's very difficult to get in touch with them. Brochures are sparse to say the least and the internet is available 24 hours per email for advice. There is no guarantee that the agent will answer all questions in the letter; My experience is one answer after the other. It took 60 days, three Spectrum modems, a wireless router, and finally a dual wireless router and modem to determine that the WR wasn't right for me.
