I left this for a full 90 minutes and after 3 days I really thought I wasted my money. but you really have to be patient. After 5 days my legs started peeling. The thickness of the shell depends on what part of the foot it is on. My healing layer was peeling off much thicker than the middle of my feet, but that's where I had most of the dead skin. thank god i didn't have any more cracks on this part of my foot after the peeling. When your foot is done exfoliating, I recommend applying foot lotion or a moisturizing body lotion and wearing socks for a day or two and continuing to moisturize to extend the duration. I do not recommend rubbing your feet with anything hard between the mask and exfoliation period. I think it's best to let it do its thing, as soon as the skin starts to lift I'll peel it off and after a day or two of exfoliating I'll scrub your feet to really finish it off. It takes a few days but it's worth it in the end.
