Wide, strong, economical scratching post

I have rescued 5 large adult feral kittens (3 own and 2 adopted). To prevent them from damaging my furniture, I keep lots of scratching posts or scratching posts and these kitties take full advantage of them. As I go through a lot of scratching posts in a short time, I'm looking for a brand like this that combines a low price with the widest possible size (because these cats tend to be big and heavy). The scratch needs to be strong and of good quality to last, and the inside they pull their claws for needs to be hard and double-sided. Other qualities I'm always looking for are catnip (which includes my cat's favorite catnip) and an outer packaging design that is unobtrusive, has no tassels, and blends in with the environment so it's too flashy (the housing association does it doesn't like cats). This brand has a very light pattern that hides it a little. There are one or two cheaper brands but they don't last as long as these and they don't have all the features I mentioned. November. Update 2018: I ordered Our Pets. Brand of cat claws annually since 2014 and they are still great and maintain a high quality that I still consider it a 5 star product. Each scratching post only lasts a little over a year despite heavy use by 4 rescued wildcats. I had 5 but 1 died of old age and 2 whom I called adopted children were adopted by me. All four still scratch it every day, play with it or sleep on it. Note. The original packet of catnip that comes with and sprinkles on each scratching post lasts just over a month, after which I buy dried catnip online and regularly sprinkle it on each scratching post to encourage my kitties to save, not furniture. This method and product work well.
