Good quality beds and furniture

I make wooden frames for cardboard scrapers and sell them on Etsy (ParkersScratchers) so I've seen about 16-18 different brands and sizes. This is in the "Quality" group. Nicely done. Nice cardboard packaging. NOT full of industrial junk and junk, which I see quite regularly. I would have no hesitation in recommending this brand to my customers.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Little things

Nothing special for the price.

Don't worry. It's not as big and wide as they say. It comes in a box, so the scratch area is smaller than the dimensions. See picture to compare with another brand I bought. You can see it has the best scratch area, no yellow border. Go for the cheaper option without the box around it. Luckily I bought another cheaper brand that I actually liked better. I will no longer purchase this item

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Some problems

My four cats use scratch mats every day. Do they tear? They do this because cat claws tear up cardboard. I vacuum the shredded pieces every few days. When the mat is well used I turn it over for later use. My cats don't scratch my furniture. I had one that got used to it. I picked it up from the furniture and carried it to the scratching post or rug. She picked the appropriate piece to use. Cats with trimmed claws live in my house, but not with claws.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Hard to say

My cat loves this! on beds and furniture

**Sorry for the video chaos as I moved a week ago, I have two cats. After unwrapping the plastic wrap from this cardboard scraper, I added some catnip. One of my cats just dabbled in catnip when it was first met. My other cat in the video immediately scratched her front claws on him. I was concerned that the board would tip over when scratched due to its lightness, but that didn't happen. Within 20 minutes of receiving this item I would definitely recommend it. I will update my review later if…

This is the scratching post your cat really wants

I bought my polydactyl cat Tommy a scratching post/apartment but he kept trying to scratch our doors anyway. I had to find another solution for all 15 of his front claws. The moment I got it he started using it. We've had him for about two months now and he thinks it doesn't matter where we take him now. When we get home he runs to his notebook and scratches it excitedly. Sometimes he even perches on it indiscriminately, despite being about half the size of his 17-pound frame. It seems very…

Pros
  • Best in its niche

Yuki was voted Best in Beds and Furniture

My little princess Yuki has all the toys and fancy cat loungers (including 2 giant PetFusion loungers) that I have been buying for years and months but she always prefers this little scratching post the big ones, expensive. No idea why, but all I can say is that she loves it a lot. Maybe the curved shape of the scratching post, who knows. But as long as she's happy, that's all that matters. Just don't judge by the size of that claw tip. Like I said, Yuki has about 5 other gyms that she can…

My 2 cats love it!

My two cats love it! One without claws, the other not. Both use it all the time. I always have one in my bedroom and one in my living room. It's funny when they both play, they run around the house but during the game they stop at both scratch boards. It's almost like making the game more fun. They use them at least 6 times or more every day. When a page runs out I just flip it over and it's like a brand new scraper! So keep them a while! I always keep 2 spares on hand so I have them when they…

My cat loves this scratching post!

I previously bought a nice three tier carpeted perch and was hoping my cat would accept it as a scratching target. No, instead she went to get the sofa and also gnawed holes in the carpet next to her tray (?). When she also started scratching the (home) carpet, I knew I needed a new solution. Not expecting much, I decided to try this cardboard scraper. As soon as I put her on the floor, she lay on it and scratched. She uses it 6-10 times a day and sometimes even sleeps on it. (I definitely…

Wide, strong, economical scratching post

I have rescued 5 large adult feral kittens (3 own and 2 adopted). To prevent them from damaging my furniture, I keep lots of scratching posts or scratching posts and these kitties take full advantage of them. As I go through a lot of scratching posts in a short time, I'm looking for a brand like this that combines a low price with the widest possible size (because these cats tend to be big and heavy). The scratch needs to be strong and of good quality to last, and the inside they pull their…
