Review on Takeya Patented Airtight Pitcher Quart by Timothy Gonzalez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Love at First Wash - Hospitality and Entertainment

Breaks glass. Plastic absorbs aromas. I'm skeptical of most pitchers because they tend to shatter if they're glass or melt/absorb stench if they're plastic. This pitcher exceeds my expectations. It claims to be tall and narrow - it really is. The handle is high enough not to take up space where other products might lie. The lid is screwed on properly and does not leak. You can actually turn this on its side in the fridge for horizontal storage. What a concept! Neither the rubber seals nor the plastic have warped, melted or deteriorated with repeated use - I consider myself a high wear user as I make iced tea from boiling water which means the kettle has to withstand boiling temperatures and the cold of my fridge. It has no problems with the dishwasher - it does not warp, does not melt, eliminates bad odors and has no danger areas where residue cannot be removed. If you've ever cleaned a baby bottle, you know what I'm talking about. Bottlenecks cannot be eliminated. It's a clean cylinder with no bottlenecks and the whole fist fits in it. I plan to buy one for each drink.
