None of these jugs have been mishandled or even put in the dishwasher (hand wash only) and they leak after a few weeks of use. So I was looking for something to hold cold coffee in. So I can drink a glass of iced coffee in the morning, because hot coffee is not the same in the south in the heat. haha! I was looking at some of the glass bottles but came across this in a suggestion box at checkout. It doesn't disappoint. I'm sorry it doesn't fit vertically in my fridge, but it's not my fault per se. I've bought several of these pitchers and for the most part they work great. You can store them on their side in the fridge and they won't leak. You can also mix drinks in it (I use it for mixing protein drinks and Soylent and have had very few problems). The lid is tight so drinks won't taste cold even if you leave them in the fridge for a while. The jug also disassembles easily, making it easy to clean. I bought two of these in 2014 and love them. Because the base slopes inwards, they fit perfectly on my fridge's door shelves.
