I won't spend too much time here as others have been much more eloquent about these lights. I'm equally impressed with them, a setup like this would have cost thousands of dollars a few years ago. I use them for green screen subject lighting and they are fantastic. Low power consumption, good heat dissipation, a wide range of colors and options, unleash your creativity. This requires permissions well beyond what the lighting control application requires. It's not really a problem because for most people, including me, it will never connect to the light. It'll see Wi-Fi, but it just keeps spinning forever. If the app is important to you, wait or consider an alternative. I've set mine with sliders, but I don't change them all the time either.
