Great tablet looking for good Android apps

I read all the reviews before I bought my Galaxy Tab S2. It's easily the best Android tablet (until a better one comes along). But for $374 what a deal. You can't beat the deep color and clarity of the screen. All 5 star reviews were correct, love it. The processor can handle anything the internet throws at it without flinching, unlike my old iPad which got bogged down and bogged down at every corner. used computers of any kind since 1960, yes, right, 56 years. So I know what I like. Tab S2 is the best after the bread cutting. But of course, it doesn't work any better than the apps available for Android. Here Apple has the upper hand. I've been using my old iPad for over 4 years. Tired of swamp and incompatibility with my Android phone and Dell PC. Using everything from Apple wasn't an acceptable alternative for me (I didn't want to pay $900 for an iPhone and $50 or $60 to run it). So I decided to switch to all Android. That's when I met the disappointment. I installed a few Android apps that should match the iPad apps I've been using for a few months and have grown accustomed to. Well, friends, they weren't. Some Android apps honestly suck. It's not the fault of the Tab S2, but rather the pathetic status of Android app development compared to Apple's. But I sincerely hope and expect that the situation will improve. I got the 32GB version and then installed a 128GB mini SD card. There are several good apps for Android. For example, I am a Revain Prime member and have the Revain Prime Video app installed. This is an app that is really awesome. This allows me to download movies to the mini card and watch them anywhere without worrying about connecting to Wi-Fi. When I'm done watching, I can delete the movie so the card doesn't overload (the card will probably hold a few hundred full-length movies, so I can leave it there if I want). I use the excellent Bluetooth function to listen to movies without disturbing anyone. This is an example of a great Android app. But others are not so good. For example, I like reading newspapers on my tablet. The iPad newspaper app I've been using for a few years is really good. But the so-called Android equivalent app is really lame. So instead of donating my old iPad to charity, I turned it into a spare e-reader until a better Android app comes along. In general, I am very happy with my Galaxy Tab S2. I understand why my rich kids and grandkids are Apple addicts, but the old man will be very happy and satisfied with his choice for all Android devices with the Tab S2.
