Review on 🔧 High-performance Melling M360 Oil Pump for Ford 5.4L Modular Engine - Efficient Lubrication Solution by Cliff Gibs

The pump was of very good quality and was a perfect match for the size of the original FoMoCo pump. No doubt I am satisfied with the product AND happy that I replaced the oil pump. Now a few things to keep in mind: 1. Watch the Fordtechmakuloco YouTube video. He makes it look very straight.2. I didn't find it as direct as he did. In particular, it was very difficult to fully install the pump on the handle, especially when hanging upside down on the radiator.3. Melling has a special pump prep procedure that includes equipment not sold here. It wasn't in the video I was watching, nor in any direction given (wasn't given at all).4. My pump WILL NOT RUN if I just crank the engine with the crank sensor disconnected. In the end, Prime was reached, but after about 20-15 seconds of start (battery charge in about 10 seconds). I also pumped oil into the pressure sensor port. I built a pre-oil pump, but maybe packing it with assembly grease would be better. Again no instructions. How much damage has occurred during this time?5. The engine now runs normally, including pressurization at start.
