At first this battery was great. I did all they said to do about charging fully before using and allowing it to run down about to 20% then fully charging again 2 or 3 times. For about a month this worked great, although it still doesn't have the long life I think it should for my laptop. I get 2 hours, 2 1/2 tops out of it, but still that's better than 2 others i've bought of other brands that didn't last a week or won't hold a charge at all. And this is with me upgrading to a 500 GB Samsung 860 EVO SSD and with a CD/DVD delete. It works good for short term use between charges or light duty applications on a laptop but it isn't one that will hang on much longer than a 2 hour average timeframe. Still, for the price I might buy 2 or 3 of these and keep them rotated if I need longer time and don't have the ability to plug in for longer periods.edit.3 months in and now it won't hold a charge. 100% to 10% in less than 5 minutes. So much for it being worth it to buy one every 3 months.
