Review on Bambo Nature Baby Diapers Classic, Size 1 (4-9 lbs), 28 Count: Eco-Friendly Diapers for Newborns by Robin Crane

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Now has a wet indicator but thinner than the old design

If you're wondering, yes they do have a wet indicator now, and yes unfortunately for those who prefer the old green pocket design, although they themselves still in the same old green bag, they are much thinner and much more flexible/flexible than the original green bag design which introduces a new learning curve when putting them on as they are not as strong and fall easily when baby moves around Switch. If you search for Bambo Nature diapers on Revain you will see that they currently have two 'upgraded' designs; one in a green bag and the other in an all white bag. Both "improved" designs now have a moisture indicator and are both thinner than the original green pouch design, however the improved green pouch design is still *slightly* thicker than the white pouch design, but the white pouch design is a little softer and a little more flexible. Regardless of which design you choose, both designs of these diapers require unrolling and stretching a bit to separate the leg ties before putting them on your baby. If you treat it like a regular diaper and don't stretch it to separate the ties, it will leak a lot. You'll also have leaks if the leg straps aren't on the outside of the diaper and if the back isn't folded in to prevent breakouts (see photo). In general, if these diapers are fitted correctly and diapers are changed quickly during the day (when the baby is active), you should rarely experience leakage. Personally I prefer the green bag BEFORE the "upgrades" but now that all the original diapers are gone I like the white bag better simply because it's softer and seems to work about the same as the "new/improved" . " green package. Don't forget to stretch the diaper. (see photo): Fold the inside of the diaper down (where I marked the blue line) before putting it on your baby to avoid blisters, and make sure all leg straps (in the blue box) are sticking out around your baby's leg, and not partially or fully inside the diaper.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled
