Some of these parts have a quality defect. I suggest you test this before installing and send back if you find it. A previous review from February 2021 mentioned the same tethering issue. (See photo) First, make sure the small black plastic lever can move freely. Then remove one of the mounting screws from the door. Insert this screw into the upper right hole and tighten it. As a result, defective parts get stuck and the small black plastic lever is very difficult to move. Don't waste time installing a broken part.
