Review on Toshiba MQ01ABD100 1TB 2.5" Internal Hard Drive by Roosevelt Weaver

Came like new boxed and looked good. Speed is good initially, but sometimes I get *very* *very* poor performance when copying files, indicating disk surface issues or something. I haven't looked into the diagnosis yet, but given what other users are reporting about their surface scans, I wouldn't be surprised if there were any issues due to age/previous use. I'm using in an isolated system with no virus scan or anything like that. and when I copy large files, they start up fast, but then the speed just drops to zero.
