Less than a week after we received it, this little wonder has already cooked 3 meals for our family of 3: oatmeal for breakfast, a small roast for dinner and some beef ribs for dinner. Oatmeal (1 cup to 4 cups of water) was cooked at low temperature overnight. Creamy and delicious, with sweetener, half and half and cinnamon. Roasts and ribs are cooked on high for 2 hours and then on low for 6 hours throughout the day. The oatmeal and roast were great but the ribs.... . uh, ribs! The fork is delicate and so fragrant. (The ribs now had longer bones, but the bones were short enough to stand upright in a slow cooker; we were lucky, but had to measure the pressure cooker depth and rib length before we bought them!) We really like it Good thing the oven doesn't work. t generate much heat in the kitchen. Don't worry the lid doesn't have a steam hole; In the rim of the ceramic pot, where the lid is inserted, 3 small vapor extraction grooves are worked. This oven isn't as fancy as the big expensive ones, but it's well designed and has 3 settings (low, high and warm) to get the job done, so don't be afraid of the low price. I can't wait to make chili!
