The only problem with this box is that the retainer for the white cable connector (where your cables actually connect) is that the mounting studs are on one end of the box, which limits the spacing of your cables at that point. the end. Thus, the other end has a larger volume. Conclusion: If you are connecting two sets of cables of different sizes, it may be preferable. If your two sets of wires are the same gauge, I would use the FX brand junction box instead. Check the images to ensure you are ordering the setup that best suits your application. Or do what I did, buy one at a time!
