I already have a cake holder, but it's too bulky. I need something compact to put in the fridge when baking a cake with cream cheese icing, fresh fruit, or toppings. I bought this specifically in the hope that my Marianne style brownies would work, and luckily they do! I used my Chicago Metallic Maryann Cake Pan and needed something to store my brownies in. This cake holder fits the bill. No extra space, but that's okay because Maryann cakes don't need frosting on the side, and the tight fit means I don't have to worry about my cake slipping in the holder. This cake stand will also hold a 9" diameter round cake. I am very happy with my purchase!
