Works on MacAir for CD and DVD drives
I bought two other external CD/DVD drives that should work on a MacAir laptop. The first would not work at all. The second seemed to be playing and stopped. I gave them both back to Revane. It can be connected to AC power, giving it enough power to run. The other two were only powered by the laptop, so I believe they were underpowered and not working. The downside is that this drive is less portable as it needs to be plugged into an outlet to function adequately on my MacAir. For this reason I lowered my rating to four stars.
