Review on ๐Ÿพ PT-300 Pet-Temp Ear Thermometer for Dogs and Cats: Advanced Monitoring System to Determine Optimal Vet Visit! by Jamie Eddington

Revainrating 4 out of 5

LOVE YOUR PETS; make it easy for both of you!

I use it on cats and kittens and humans too. I've done a few comparisons with a mercury thermometer and it's accurate to 1/10th of a degree (or maybe it's absolutely accurate and my mercury thermometer is off)! Either way, it tells you what you need to know: Is there a mildly elevated temperature, or an alarmingly high temperature that warrants a visit to the vet or doctor? It's very fast, about 1-2 seconds to get a reading. I take 2-3 measurements to account for incorrect tip insertion and patient wobble. Batteries last forever, comes with extra tip caps (replacements available at major pet stores), folds into its own pouch. I can't think of a single negative point, but I suggest taking the temperature twice in the instructions, just for accuracy. (In a human ear, I probably won't insert the tip "wrongly." But in a cat or dog, if the tip is accidentally applied to a patch of skin and isn't loose in the ear canal, reading will be affected. ) Love your pets, stop sticking a mercury thermometer up their butt; That doesn't make it easier for them than for you!
