The gauge was only 3/4 full of glycerin which means there was a large bubble in the gauge that filled the top 1/4 of the gauge's surface. This made it difficult to read the pressure gauge. But the pressure gauge seemed to work fine. I bought this to check my pressure so I can properly inflate the expansion valve. Inexpensive enough pressure gauge for single or dual use.
