Portable A/V almost caught fire
After about 5 minutes of use I noticed the radio turning on and off. I picked up the radio to look at the screen, it flickered. I noticed that the battery rectifier was warm, then smoke came out, the wire began to melt. Luckily I was able to unplug it relatively quickly.
