Got this for my MIL who broke her wrist and hip in a fall and was practically bedridden for a month. She kept it by her bed to brush her teeth, comb her hair, and put on her makeup. The light is bright enough, the mirror surface is a decent size, and the magnifying mirror was a welcome bonus. It's also aesthetic.
