Works great!: Nursing pads

First, these nursing pads work very well. I've tried disposables from Lansinoh and J&J, and laundry detergent from UnderKanppies and Bamboobies. Disposables stuck to my nipples and other cleaning products trap too much moisture on my nipples, making them itchy. Also, it was really difficult to always wash nursing pads and I didn't want to invest in 10 pairs just in case. They don't need to be washed, just once in a long time. I've had mine for almost a month now and still haven't washed them. When I do this, it's just a quick soak and then I let them dry. So much easier! Also, I'm concerned about wool in the heat since I live in Houston, Texas. So far they haven't been a problem. We've had about a week of over 90 degrees on high humidity days so I think this is a fair test. Finding the size is difficult. I tried small and x-small because I wear 32C. The x-small size fitted my bra better, but I've always heard it should cover almost the entire breast, so I went for the small size. It will bulge a bit on the top/sides/bottom of my bra but it's actually LESS bumpy than the X-Small where you could see the pad circle. My supplies have leveled out, so I don't ALWAYS have to wear pads, but just in case. I don't know how they would have acted the first time I drank milk and soaked my shirts every night, but I plan to use them with my next child to find out. I really like them and I'm glad I CAN use them again. They may seem expensive, but you only need a MAXIMUM of 2 pairs, which costs $50. You could easily spend these 3 months with disposable items. Two or three times more if there are enough pairs of other washable pads.
