The kid chose it herself because she liked the sassy, cheeky look. It's as bold as she'd hoped, very bright and three-dimensional. She is small, she just turned 9, and size 9-10 is suitable for long and loose clothes, which is what she wanted. The only surprise for me was that the fabric is smooth and shiny, like yoga pants or a wetsuit, and not soft and woven cotton or jersey like you might think for a sweatshirt. It's ok, my kid is happy with it, just wanted to let others know!
