Review on Hanes Active 12 Pack Ankle Socks by Nolan White

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I love these socks. Comfortable, stretchy, durable and breathable

I started with 6 packs and loved it so much I bought 12 packs again. When I bought it, I was very skeptical at first. They felt so small that in my opinion they didn't fit my foot properly. To my surprise, they were VERY stretchy, so they fit my size 12ft with surprising ease. To be clear, stretching is a comfortable stretch. They aren't constricting, but they're snug enough to feel secure without shifting or twisting while you're wearing them. When I put my socks on, I became cautious because after stretching, they seemed pretty thin to me. These socks were (conveniently) stretched so thin that I could see the color of my feet through the socks. I was very careful and expected them to break easily. After several months of constant wear and washing, they continued to hold very tight. This includes gardening, morning chores and working out, and a few times wrestling on uneven ground (without shoes). These socks did pretty well, although they appear to be very good. I don't know how they made the sock so stretchy yet durable, but they figured it out. In terms of breathability, they are incredibly easy to breathe. I've never heard of summer socks, but I would definitely consider these summer socks if you're the type who wears sneakers most of the time. They breathe like socks, but are also very durable. Thanks to a rainy day, I can say that if they are wet while wearing them, they get rid of water easily and quickly. They do not dry out completely, but dry enough that the wearer is happy to continue wearing the socks. The fact that they now have 18 pairs should speak for itself. I love these socks. The first 6 pairs lasted almost 5 months with very frequent wear. For those wondering, these are the Hanes X-Temp Socks, which feature lettering just below the toes. "Hanes" is red, "X" is blue, and "Temp" is white.
