This socket cover works like the original on my popup as the original cover had faded This is for use on an external socket, it will fit without modification. Simply pull off the old one and screw it on, done. The instructions state that using sealant will help prevent water from entering the outlet which could create a potential hazard before the RCD trips. This looks great on my popup and is way better than the previous one. If you have an outlet that looks a little dirty or broken, this will fill the bill and won't break the bank as the cost is reasonable. I recommend it.
