Looks cheap and not shiny at all.
I really wanted this mirror to be liked because it looked very nice in the picture. It looks beautiful in person until you touch it. The hinge on the mirror to adjust it left to right was very difficult to turn and I didn't want to risk breaking it so I left it alone. The hand appears to be plastic and painted. The lights don't completely surround the mirror and you can see where each bulb/strip is. The mirror itself was good but I don't think it will last more than a year before breaking. I returned it.
