seems good enough! - code readers and scanners

first - the seller brought it to me in just a few days - nice. Overall it looks decent enough. The upgrade process is a bit tricky as you have to register on the website and elsewhere. seemed unnecessary. Here's the reason for the four stars: I downloaded the updater software from their website, installed it, and tried to update it. About half my Malwarebytes shut down - said it was ransomware! WHAT? I deleted it, contacted them and told them what happened. Autel sent software installation instructions instead of reading my issue. so i will try again. This time when I downloaded it said "malicious website". Sigh. As a result, I installed it and updated the device. Who knows. Maybe Malwarebytes was having a bad day/false positives. I managed to get it to do what I basically bought it to do: bleed the ABS brakes. The device guides you through the steps, which is nice. But you need two people to do it (in my case) as one had to keep his foot on the brake and the other suction cup with the bleed nut, if I had to change anything about it I would do it with touchscreen. I would also like to develop a new cable, the thing is very thick and heavy - too much. But otherwise it works quite simply. A friend already wants to borrow it and I see many uses for it in the future,

Pros
  • tools and equipment
Cons
  • there are new competitors
