Keeps disconnecting from computer
I had a ScanSnap ix500 that NEVER lost connection to the computer. I didn't replace it with the ix1500 because I was complaining about that model losing connection to the computer. I bought the ix1600 thinking you solved this problem. But now the computer loses connection about every 48 hours and I have to spend an hour or more restarting the computer and scanner to get them working again. And it's with a wired connection, not an internet connection, so it's not a problem. I'm no longer a fan of the ScanSnap after years of praising it.
