Not what I expected

So the picture shows something that looks like metal, looks sturdy and can be rotated 360 degrees. This product is a super thin and brittle plastic (a guitar pick I think). The ring itself is incredibly difficult to turn and if you try to turn it you will feel it scratch the adhesive. I assume the glue (double sided 3m) also holds the ring? I haven't tried it on a phone case so I can't confirm its stickiness. Looks very cheap not worth $7 which will definitely come back.
