Review on Noctua NF A12X15 PWM Premium Quality Quiet by Stanislaw Jastrzebsk ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best price for such a product, I will buy more!

If you need a good QUIET low profile fan, then there are almost no options. I took it to replace the standard fan with an ID Cooling IS60 processor cooler (sort of like that), in my cramped case it rests against the lid, while it cools the Ryzen 3600 perfectly - in stress tests the temperature never exceeded 68C. Compared to the regular one, it is noticeably quieter and at the same time 1-2C colder. Starts almost from scratch. up to 1000 rpm it is not audible at all (it constantly works on the processor), at 1200-1300 there is air noise that you do not notice after a couple of minutes even in silence. at the maximum, of course, air noise is heard, there is no miracle here, but there are no extraneous overtones, so it is quite tolerable. I took 2 of the same for blowing the video card. Constantly work at 1300 rpm. Of course, I can determine whether the computer is turned on or not (the computer is 2 meters away from me) - but I just don’t notice this noise, unless I specifically pay attention. And if there is some kind of sound (video \ game) - then they are absolutely inaudible by themselves. At full speed it will be noticeable. It's just that the noise is very even and the brain easily filters it out. It's just that these are my first noctois and I was expecting a miracle that they are not audible at all at any speed. But no, the miracle did not happen. But at least it's the quietest thing there is, so I'm happy.

Pros
  • Quiet, good airflow and pressure, very well made
