When searching for a stud, if you scan left to right and highlight "center of stud", then scan right to left and note "center of stud" same Sometimes this discrepancy ranges up to nearly an inch. And I scan 2x4 wooden shelves behind interior walls. It doesn't give you full confidence when using it.
