I followed the instructions exactly as shown in the figure. Well it didn't work out. So I emailed the company and they replied that you should use common sense when installing it. They also said I need to buy another one and take it to an authorized Metra dealer. They refused to guarantee this even after I sent photos of their targets marked with a symbol indicating it would not work as described. So it's best to throw the instructions on the heap because they have no idea what they're talking about.
