I have an iPhone XS in a thin transparent plastic case so it's not particularly heavy but I dropped it 3 times on the first ride. Not only does this not do what it's supposed to do (hold the phone), it's downright dangerous. The magnet is not strong enough to work. I always had to be careful overcoming even small bumps and be ready to pick up the phone! Additionally, the clip is too thick to work on my main machine where the spacing between the vent louvers is too tight. It was fine with our minivan, but of course it wasn't very stable and continued to rock even after the clamp was switched on. I just don't think it's a good design. My phone is one of the smallest today so I can't believe it's made to fit larger phones. I have another Wixgear magnetic phone mount and next to it, Wixgear definitely has a much stronger magnet that hasn't let me down yet. I'll send it back as soon as possible.
