I bought these primarily for my 7 year old daughter's game. She has always loved dice and took them out of other games to play with. At their age, they are also good for practicing math and counting. I was hoping to get the ones in the picture. According to other, more knowledgeable and experienced reviewers, those with darker dots are of better quality. The cheap ones have a light purple at number 6, not the darker color shown in the photos. All dot colors are shifted (too close together), washed out, and the dots are too small. It doesn't matter for my purposes, but it's still frustrating that I paid the same price as others and got an inferior product.
