Very nice little machine

I bought this because trying to use my Nexxus tablet to surf the web, even after a full factory reset, was a nightmare. ADVANTAGES: Sitting on a chair, the machine works great with ergonomics. a full-featured version of Chrome and Google Apps, instead of the basic, functional, but annoying versions of Android. Chrome on a Chromebook is exactly the same as Chrome on both of my desktops. It has enough power to run Chrome and web apps without major issues. Maybe a bit slower than desktop, but not that bad. - Very light weight. THIS IS - the keyboard is functional. It's a bit smaller than I would have preferred, but it's an expected compromise. CONS: No option for a simplified wakeup password. You must enter your real Google password at any time to activate it. The mine is quite involved, so it's involved every time. You can set it up to unlock your phone when it's nearby, but that doesn't always work. Many floods allow you to force your phone to unlock. sometimes. Although it might be my dodgy Huawei phone. TIPS After downloading the updates and restarting the computer, it worked completely. Things like the Android Play Store and unlocking the phone don't work until I reboot after the updates. Google how to use chrome mouse pad. Knowing how and when to use two and three fingers really makes web surfing that much easier. You can even right-click to pin the tabs (Gmail, Calendar, etc.) you want to track at any time. I am very happy. It's simply the best I've ever had. UPDATE I still LOVE this car. And now it's even $30 cheaper than when I bought it. Yesterday I installed the Linux version of Blender for an evening class. It took some hacking skills but I got it working in the end. Although once installed, it wasn't the best experience; I had to restart several times but it was much better than I expected. I will be using my real computer for all my mixes outside of class. But Blender works pretty well on a $200 machine!
