We love these hooks!

Easy install, we bought a 3/4" x 12" pine board that was painted white. I used 2.5" screws to screw the pine board directly into the studs to hang the board. All 5 bicycle hooks were screwed into 16 inch bolts in the middle. I did not use wall anchors. I wouldn't use anchors to attach bike hooks to drywall. Bikes are heavy and I wouldn't trust wall anchors in drywall. This setup is VERY solid and saves a lot of space.
