Review on HAPTOO Trick Scooter for Kids 8+ Years | Beginner Stunt Scooter for Boys | Freestyle Kick Scooter by Robert Capers

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The welds should be polished and the deck may be small for older kids.

For the price compared to some other stunt scooters this one is ok. First, the welding is so noticeable throughout the weld area that it doesn't seem like they tried to smooth it out before selling it. The second stunt scooter is essentially a single handlebar with a grip, all together as a unit, while this one has it separately so you have to bolt the handlebars to the main grip. The third is the rear brake and wheel. When I looked at dd the rear wheel wasn't spinning and upon closer inspection the wheel was aligned to the sides so I had to center it to get it spinning smoothly. Also, the brake was also off center and the brake didn't look like the picture at all. It's just a sheet metal without rubber pad as shown in the picture. The clamp for fixing the steering wheel to the deck is durable. The deck itself can be small for some older kids. My son is 10 years old and only fits on it with one foot and the other foot is back on his toes and the heel is close to breaking. Some might like this because it's easier to do tricks and spin on a smaller deck. The ride is smooth once I adjust the rear wheel, but it does rattle slightly. I suspect it's coming from the wheel and meta brake because unlike a folded scooter there are no other moving parts. The size was perfect for him at 1.50 m tall, the handlebars were aligned between the hip and the navel, you need a stunt scooter here. in his. For a beginner this will work, but for welding and some of the other issues I mentioned above it will be 3.5 to 4 stars.
