I was looking for a Velcro strip with industrial adhesive to attach a polycarbonate plate to the windshield of our trailer as a protection against stones. I stumbled across Fixzilla and decided to give it a try. I immediately noticed that you have to be careful not to get the glue where you don't want to put it, including your fingers. The adhesive is much stronger than any other Velcro material I've dealt with. Of course, the key to realizing the true benefits of an adhesive is surface preparation. I have no doubt that this material will do my job of protecting the disc from stone chips at high speeds. UPDATE: AFTER SEVERAL MONTHS OF AN IMPACT, THIS SO-CALLED INDUSTRIAL VELCRO SHRINKS LIKE A SNAIL ON HOT CONCRETE. THE SURFACE TEMPERATURE ON MY HEAT GUN IS LISTED AS 141 DEGREES AND THE AMBIENT TEMPERATURE IS 98 DEGREES. BUT THIS PROBLEM STARTED AT MUCH LOW TEMPERATURES. YOU CAN MOVE IT BY HAND BECAUSE THE GLUE WAS LIQUID. THIS PRODUCT IS NOT OLD UNTIL SUNLIGHT. IT LOST MY TIME AND MONEY. AND TALK ABOUT MONEY.
