I had never used a tool like this before and didn't know where to start. Luckily the seller included a card with a link to a YouTube video with simple instructions, after watching the video I was able to work on the buttons. So no, it's not difficult at all, but I doubt the quality of the buttons themselves. They don't feel 100% comfortable putting all the pieces together. It just feels like everything should be stronger. I also don't like that they are so easy to open, it takes so little effort to undo the buttons. I have used this on children related articles and just don't feel comfortable or safe doing it. I mean it does its job but not as well as I was hoping. I will look for a better and more durable button set. I was contacted by the seller and asked if everything is ok, so the support is working, but I just can't honestly say I recommend this product.
