Great car and get a 1/8 " stereo cable for MORE MUSIC AND VERSATILITY

So far great fun for the money. I would recommend getting a 1/8" stereo cable (3, 5mm) (9.99 at Radio Shack, probably cheaper if you shop online but didn't realize I needed one.) Connect most personal audio devices, including iPhone, iPod and iPad, via the Audio IN jack (marked only with) to the Signing Machine to a musical note) on the back of the unit near where the video OUT cables plug in. cool because it: 1) stops you from buying a bunch of karaoke CDs, especially the ones your kids are craving today but will never listen to again next month 2 ) connect your ipad and use millions of karaoke songs/ Videos with lyrics found on YouTube. 3) Get connected Get your MP3 or iPhone, especially if you st. eaming - and find just about any karaoke record you've ever wanted and run it through the singing machine. My next project is to use a Chromecaster so that YouTube karaoke lyrics can be streamed on the TV as the lyrics now only scroll on the iPad and not the TV. that's a bit of a compromise, as YouTube makes an extensive karaoke library available without having to buy lots of CDs, some of which would fall out of favor with the band. It is best to set the iPad volume to the maximum for maximum sound. Another thing that makes this cable a good idea especially for young children is the songs that young children often want to sing from their favorite songs. Recording artists are tricky - it's not the worst thing in the world to sing along to your favorite records - the mic makes it easy for a child's voice to override the singer's voice. but the singer is here as a guide; It is difficult for small children and even some adults to follow the scrolling texts. Okay, this might not be pure karaoke, but I bought it to entertain the kids, so I'm not a fan of karaoke rules :-) When you buy this stereo cable, you REALLY upgrade a relatively cheap karaoke model!

Pros
  • Lots of good vibes
Cons
  • Almost never
