Ideal for washing and washing firewood

I used laundry baskets before. They were bulky and difficult to manage as I had 2 more than average. I decided to try this as a replacement and I liked it. I am a 6ft 2in male wearing 5/6XL clothing. That means I have a HUGE pile of laundry. What used to take up 2 large baskets now takes up 1 handy bag. I put a week's worth of clothes, queen bedding, bedspreads and fleece comforters in this bag the first time I wash everything that fits me in it and I could use another set of bedding or about a week put more clothes in it. Baskets, if you need to take laundry out of the house, do yourself a favor and use the bag: not only does it have a large capacity, but by shifting the load onto your shoulder rather than that, you become less prone to back pain holding the basket in front of you, which puts so much work into your core/back. It looks pretty heavy, although it's actually very light. The cord works great and opens more than enough to easily and carefully put folded laundry back in after washing. Don't think it's just underwear. I've been wandering around and found a useful way to do this. I stuffed it with logs that I had to walk the quarter mile to get to my smokehouse. I was able to maneuver it quickly and easily over terrain that would be difficult to negotiate with something like a wheelbarrow, and the cable stayed taut at the top so I didn't lose anything in transport. While the average person probably doesn't have the need or desire to haul firewood, this should serve as an example of how the convenience of a sturdy large tote can transcend clothing just because it's sold as a laundry bag. Not only will I be buying one for my brother for Christmas, I will also be buying one for other chores than laundry. My only complaint would be that the strap is a bit slippery. I prefer to have something on it because it moves more than I'd like when under light loads.
