This is a decent monitor with good picture and sound quality. The only real issue I had was having to buy a 90 degree HDMI cable to get the stand in the right position. Otherwise, the base needs to be tiled, as the HDMI port is on the bottom edge of the screen and the included cable has a fairly long plug. As long as you don't intend to use a stand and use the VESA compatible mounting holes, or don't mind tilting it 30 degrees, you're fine. I didn't use the remote control at all, it looks pretty cheap, but it's pretty standard for electronics in this class. I use this with The64 Mini as a sort of shelf gaming display.
