I ordered an 8" Dcorn screen yesterday and Revain delivered it today. Good service. It was well packed. Everything necessary was in it. Once opened, it took about 15 minutes to install on my desk, plug it in, and start watching U tube videos. The quality is better than I thought. UPDATE: I've been researching thin HDMI cables to find one with the thinnest head/jacket possible, bought one and switched to it. Now the flickering is completely gone. Unfortunately I had to buy a second special item to be able to use this monitor. If you want to buy it, you should buy a thin cable at the same time. Bought to communicate with Raspberry PI devices. Very nice color image, big enough for basic programming but not suitable for watching videos/movies etc. The screen is too small for this purpose. The screen appears to be set to a base resolution of 1280 x 720, with an additional scaling setting increasing the image size by about 20%. Unfortunately, the control bar at the top of the screen disappears in zoom mode, so the resolution has to be set back to the default value of 1280 x 720. There…

The DCORN 8" monitor is a handy addition to your security system. I use it to interface with my NVR. I don't need it on all the time and it boots up in minutes. The small size makes it easy to store away when not in use. The screen resolution goes well with the 4K system I have installed.

It works for the small screen. I've needed an extra monitor for a long time and it just works. I usually just have disagreements that show up on this small monitor or other non-essential applications I use. I even connected my switch to it.

Works perfectly. Slightly "slow" on signal detection, supports downscaling of 1080p inputs when connected to a 1080p-tuned mixer/matrix/splitter or to a fixed 1080p device. Very important if you also use a splitter and use this as a feed monitor. I did not check other inputs. You can use some kind of screen protector. It would be nice if they included something.

Bought to use as a portable test device. Overall very satisfied, especially for the price. Lots of input options, great screen quality, would definitely recommend bttttttttttttt. the power supply cord is very, very short and the remote control, which is much easier to use than the built-in "4-way" button for scrolling through the settings, is very finicky. But still I'm glad to have it in my toolbox, probably saved me the cost of it the first time I used it.

Overall I'm very happy with this little monitor. I'm using this with a Raspberry Pi 4 running Ubuntu with a mini keyboard/trackpad to create the cutest little computer system ever. The only issue was the case design where any regular sized HDMI cable is too big so I had to take it apart and cut the case around the connector. Normally something like this would be worth one star, but it really didn't matter.

Three stars because the monitor serves the purpose I bought it for. This is a video display tool for computers that I'm fixing up for friends since I no longer have a main monitor that shows the VGA input. However, it's very small for a computer monitor, and it's difficult to read text on it without going close to the screen. Accessing the menu structure with the remote control is also difficult. Don't buy it, it's too expensive for the quality. The remote control is paper thin and the buttons don't work on the first day, the buttons on the monitor click but don't respond. I would stay away from this product. There is no back button on the remote control/monitor.

For the price this is a great monitor. The only reason I gave it four stars is the lack of volume control. It's difficult to use as a field monitor with howling feedback.

Due to the limited space, a very small monitor was required so that the person running the special bidding program for the auction could see what was being broadcast to the audience. It completely filled the account. Didn't think you could get 1080P and IPS in such a small format (you don't need a TFT as it's hard to see). Great monitor!

Great screen! I have this to connect HDMI to my Nikon z6 so I have a better view when filming. I had to order a separate HDMI cable for my z6 but I knew that when I ordered. It works great - easy to use. I love that it has a remote control! The screen lights up as soon as my live camera appears. I highly recommend it to any videographer looking for such an application. Due to the nature of my work, I have not tested the audio.
