So don't argue, the keyboard is not integrated into the case. It is separate and is applied by simply placing it on the magnetized housing. You need to pull it to the front edge and then lift the iPad. When you're done, simply put the keyboard back and close the case as it fits snugly against the case when closed. It would be nice to have a built-in keyboard, but no. Well, you get what you pay for.
