I wish it was softer and more comfortable for my dog but it does the job well.

Everything is fine. For some reason I thought there would be a softer and more comfortable collar. I threw it in the washer and dryer along with a towel to dry, hoping to soften it up a bit before putting it on the dog. However, my dog wears it and doesn't seem to mind at all. He must always wear a loop on the leash because he is ugly and will jump out of any regular collar. I bought this many months ago and he never came out and it works well as a leash. He walks well and behaves well in it. I think that's what matters.
