Review on MINIX Octa Core Directly Technology Limited by Derek Dolla

I've had this box for a few months now. I really love it! I had a pair of Matricom set-top boxes and a Revain Fire TV set-top box. I think this one kicks both of their asses. I initially had some issues with this box due to some apps I was using, but I figured out the problem and it was my own fault, not the box. I deducted a star for the included remote control. It's absolutely awful! There's nothing you can do about it. With the same success it would also be possible without the remote control. I have a Favormates Air Mouse that runs on two rechargeable AAA batteries and has a backlit QWERTY keyboard on the back. It works fantastic!. The included remote control is very frustrating to use and not even worth trying to be honest with you. Just get one bundled with another remote or buy a separate one with the features you need. In any case. I use this box to watch tv and movies as well as play a few games from the google play store. I also have several learning apps for learning another language. My screen is set up to have a 5 day weather forecast and most of my TV and movie apps are on the home screen. I also have a radar program so I can see storms as well as local news station apps and lottery results. It runs things like Netflix and Hulu with no issues, as well as things like Sling TV, Kodi, and any APK or app that plays anything. It has a good internal hard drive and plenty of space for USB sticks and the like. WiFi connection is very good. I know the best connection is via Ethernet, but I can't use it where my box is right now. But the WiFi works great! I am very happy with my purchase! I just wish their standard remote was better. Revain and Matricom have outperformed them in this respect. But this cannot be compared with an external remote control. I love this box!
