This thing is amazing. I had a damaged MacBook Air that was beyond repair, but I was able to salvage the SSD. Easy to install, people here exaggerate and whine too much. Yes they could use other screws but oh well if you have a set of T# bits you will be fine, I used T5 on top and T6 on the bottom they unscrew right away. It's a one-time thing you do, so whatever. Small annoyance is worth the performance. Did I say performance? Yes. The Blackmagic has a reading speed of around 380MB/s and a writing speed of up to 450MB/s. terrific. I'll leave some virtual machines on this thing. And by the way, if you feel like your drive isn't giving you good speeds, do a secure erase (not a zero-based erase, not the same). I'm using a PartedMagic (USB) boot disk. Resets in seconds (secure erase).
