Where to start. First we ordered two packs. They never showed up so I got a refund. About a week later one turned up and the box was pretty much broken and you could see the other one was attached with string and gone. I figured it all out and ordered another one to make up for the lost one. He, too, was beaten to hell and back. When I opened the first one you could tell it was new and unopened. The second was already half assembled. I decided to go ahead and finish the build and see if everything is there. DO NOT use the screwdriver that came with the kit for assembly. Whoever "pre-drilled" the holes had a lazy day at the factory because in most if not all seconds the holes were marked and started but not actually drilled. (I think that's why I got half built, whoever had it first just got frustrated and gave up) I learned from the first to use a larger handled screwdriver or drill so it wasn't a big one shock to see it. The rest of the assembly wasn't that difficult. Although it would be a little easier if instructions were included in a package. I'm a pretty smart guy and have built enough pre-made furniture so it wasn't rocket science, but instructions would be nice. The drawer of one of them is not perfectly aligned and has a chip in the "wood". . The drawers on both are very sticky and don't slide very smoothly. I also noticed that the running unit was missing two screws. Luckily, the first one gave me additional options, so I got through. Aside from a few blemishes, they look great as a bedside table and will likely become guest room decorations at some point. I love having an open back shelf to store my phone and iPad. I could and probably should return them, but I've already built them, they work and are a bit cheap. If you are someone who wants the perfect bedside table I would steer clear of these as it is like a tote bag for the quality you will receive.
