These little things are sooo cute and easy to make. I had family coming into town and needed something to distract the kids (6 & 8 year old. The kids really enjoyed being hands on with the dough and and putting them together. The only part that required commitment from me really was the baking part. Otherwise, they were able to row out the dough and make their own little aliens. Both boy and girl were entertained for a bit.

We got both the alien and the cuties set. Although it initially looks as if the small amount of clay provided isn’t going to get you very far, it turns out you can make almost all the projects in the books. The different clay colors can be used as is or blended with each other. This is a fun kit to play with. It does have some minor issues and your erasers don't usually turn out as nice as the ones on the box. However, you can make some unique looking erasers. Also the more intricate erasers don't always stay stuck together when you try to use it as an eraser. You can make all kinds of shapes and sizes. My son woke up begging to make this little guy, so we started bright and early! The instructions are extremely helpful and clear and the enclosed clay tool is good for little ones. I was really surprised by how little clay came in this kit, relative to the size of the box it comes in. The box has 3-dimensional erasers, but the clay melted when baked and flattened my daughter's creations, following the suggested baking instructions. This craft was a hit in our household. My eight year old son and his cousin did these and we had so much fun. They put such great care into making their creatures that they decided not to use them as erasers, but keep them as toys instead. Maybe that will change over time, who knows? Don't expect your finished product to look exactly like it does in the book unless you're really artistic. We decided to make our own creatures and had a blast anyway. Highly recommend this!

Kind of a mini version of Klutz’s fimo and paper clay kits. The eraser Clay is pliable and easy to use and like fimo it is baked to set it. Comes with complete and illustrated instructions and even glitter for accent. The size of the packaging makes them a great stocking stuffer.

Great for cousin get togethers! The kids had fun making a variety of alien erasers. An adult needed at end to help bake for 30 minutes!

Wow, I really wish I could have enjoyed these and given them the review that I thought I was going to give but the clay was just too hard - no matter how warm I got it with my hands to even really form anything that would stay together.My children could not even mold it in their hands from the square log that it arrives in.I cannot recommend!
