My son woke up begging to make this little guy, so we started bright and early! The instructions are extremely helpful and clear and the enclosed clay tool is good for little ones. We did find it helpful to have mom use a knife to cut more precise pieces.He had a lot of fun making it, but he loves it so much it is likely just a toy now and not going to be used as an eraser.I took a star off because we had a lot of trouble getting the clay to stick together. It fell apart with the slightest touch and required some squishing to make it stay.Overall, good craft set at a fair price. The 8+ age range is accurate, but an adult should be near to help out, and obviously an adult should do the baking part.
